Happy Monday

Happy Monday. It was an uneventful weekend and the same kind of day. Work was good, I managed to get a lot done. This Friday is month end so we are trying to get as much cleared off the books as possible. My accounts look good, now i need to work on claims and see how much i can get done.  Fingers crossed.... 🤞

The Covid-19 pandemic isn't any better. We still have at least 900+ new cases daily and the numbers just keep rising. So far there are over 176,000 deaths in the US. There is no end in sight and soon it will be flu season. I can only imagine how bad things will get. We are starting to stock up on basics (paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc.) because we just have no idea how long it will last and how bad it might get. We are going to start stocking up on canned goods and frozen foods this week. So many people have lost their jobs due to this virus and people are struggling financially and emotionally. Most people are afraid to go anywhere for fear of being exposed. Then we have those that go everywhere and most times don't wear a mask. My entire family has existing health problems and we can't risk getting Covid. Wear a mask 😷 people, be respectful to others!! We are adults right???

Today was 5 weeks on WW and so far I've lost 22.8 lbs. I'm starting to feel the difference and I know it will only get better. I have so much weight to lose to make goal and sometimes I feel really discouraged. I know it takes time and I promise I will quit whining 🤣. We've discovered a few new recipes that we love💓.  That's really half the battle. Becca and I like pretty much the same things so it's easy to cook for us. Working from home really helps too. 

I'm hoping to start writing again and maybe even scrapbooking. I need to find some hobbies to keep me busy this winter. If i do write, I will share. If i scrapbook, I will share pictures of the pages of the book. 

Well everyone, dinner isn't going to cook itself. It would be amazing if it could!
