Another scorching day

Today is another hot day in Ohio. In the 90's again and I am SO over it. I am not made for hot weather. Warm weather yes, HOT weather no. Fall is my favorite seasons for more reasons than just the cooler temperatures. I love the trees when the leaves start changing colors. It goes from orange to red and yellow. Just absolutely beautiful. From there, I know Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. Before we can get to the holidays though, we have to deal with this 👇

The Covid-19 Pandemic is getting worse. Today in Ohio we have 1400 new cases. We have more now than when the pandemic started back in March/April. The US has over 165,000 people that have died from Covid so far and our President is doing nothing about it. In his words, "It is what it is."  All I can say is, God help us. My daughter and I do most of our grocery shopping through Kroger click-list or Wal-Mart pick up. We don't go out any more than we have to. We do everything we can to keep my parents from going out but they are pretty stubborn and do what they want. All we can do is pray they stay safe and nag them about wearing their masks and using hand sanitizer. Prayers for the entire country that things get better soon but they are saying it will get worse before it gets better.

In my bio I mentioned that I started WW back in July. Well I am 3 weeks in and I have lost 14.2 lbs. I feel good about it and I am learning things I can/can't eat. I am very picky as to what I use my points on. My favorite lunch is two pieces of toast with 2 tsp. of KerryGold butter and three boiled eggs. It's a 7 point lunch and totally worth it. The diet is pretty simple to follow and it allows you to eat what you want but in moderation. This really isn't a diet for me. I want it to be a new lifestyle. It's teaching me that you can have anything you want, but in moderation.  I will update as I go along........I have a lot to lose so wish me luck!!  🍇🍎🍌🍅🍓

Later taters.............🥔
