Happy Friday!!! I was off today (and yesterday). I stayed up late both nights watching TV with my girl. It's been nice not having to get up too early but unfortunately, I haven't really slept in. The animals πΈπΈπare so accustomed to me being up earlier so Momma got up, even though I didn't do much. I read a little and played a couple games on my IPad.
This afternoon I broke/strung a mess of green beans my parents gave me. They are now on the stovetop cooking with some bacon in them. The house smells amazing. We are having fresh green beans and bacon/egg and tomato sandwiches for dinner. Nothing better than fresh green beans and fresh tomatoes from the garden. I just added a little bit of onion and garlic salt to the beans so we shall see how they taste.
Mom fell a little while ago. My daughter and I had to run over to their house and help dad get her up. His back is really hurting so we didn't let him do much. Now my back hurts. It just never fails does it? Before we ran over to mom/dads I tried to get Roo (our dog) in his cage and the fucker wouldn't go. He ran under the kitchen table to hide. When he does that, if we try to get him out, he growls and bites at us. We managed to trap him in the kitchen with the gate. Mind you, the gate is only 2 - 2 1/2 feet tall and Roo is taller than me when he stands on his hind legs (I'm 5'6) and he weighs around 85 lbs. He could jump the cage if he really thought about it but he's kind of dumb and hasn't realized what he's capable of. ππ
Well I need to get dinner finished and get Roo fed and outside. Have a great evening everyone.
