Cold and windy Sunday.............

 

Happy Sunday. It's chilly and very windy here. The winds have been up to 61 mph today. It's been in the 50's but the wind just makes it so cold. The wind just cuts through you like a knife.

Not much going on. I did weight in yesterday and I lost 5.6 lbs. I have lost a total of  57.4 lbs. since July. My goal is to lose another 10-15 by Christmas and I do think I can do it. By my birthday in February, I want to lose 43 more lbs. It may be tough but if I really buckle down, I think I can do it. The holidays will be tough but with me working from home, at least I won't be tempted by all the sweets that are usually around the office.

Post Election Sunday

 

Well, it's Sunday. I weighed in yesterday and only lost .4 lbs. but at least I didn't gain. Let me tell you why I really didn't lose much. I have lost 51.8 lbs. so far and I am feeling good. I have a ton more to lose but I know I can do it. It's amazing how much better I am feeling other than being sick. I think I'm getting bronchitis. Did a Teladoc call today and they called in prednisone. I hate steroids but if it makes me feel better, I'm all for it. I also picked up all of our new inhalers which will definitely help. 

The 2020 Election was this past Tuesday November 3. As of that evening, we still had no idea who the winner would be. It was one hell of a stressful week. My daughter and i both watched CNN all freaking week, hoping and praying Biden/Harris would win. We just can't take another 4 years of Trump.

Yesterday, Saturday Nov 7, as soon as i got out of bed at 10:45 (we didn't go to bed until 5am Saturday morning), I turned on CNN.  I hadn't been out of bed 15 minutes when the AP called that Joe Biden / Kamala Harris had won the election. We were both crying. Last night, they gave their speeches and we cried yet again as they both spoke.  Kamala broke shattered some glass ceilings y'all. She is the first WOMAN in the White House. She is now our new Vice President elect. Not only is she female, she is black and Asian. This is a day that will forever go down in history and we were here to see it.

Sunday before Election day.....................ugh

 

Happy Sunday. It's really cold and blistery out. ⛄⛆ was a mix of snow/sleet earlier but it didn't last too long. Didn't do much this weekend. It was kind of nice to just rest and catch up on some much needed sleep. Went to mom and dads for dinner today as usual. It's our family time and we wouldn't change it for the world. 

I weighed in....... I lost 5.8 lbs. this week. I was really surprised. I knew I had done pretty well but wow. I sure hope I can keep going. My goal is to lose 17 more lbs. by Christmas. I KNOW I can do it. Sunday's are our major cheat days and Monday's we always get back on track. I've been drinking a ton of water and I know that is key for me. I worked out a few days last week too which helped. 

Two more days until the Election. God, I'm so ready for it to be over. It's terrifying as to what will happen. Some states are urging businesses to board up their store fronts for fear of rioting and looting. I pray that we all make it through in one piece.
